Will people notice you at my
wedding?
We do our best to blend
in. This is your day and we don't want to take
away from that. We dress accordingly. We never
stick a camera in anyone's face. We try to stay
well out of the way with out compromising any
shot.
- Who shoots/attends our wedding?
Your wedding will
be shot by myself and one other videographer.
-
Do we pay for your meal?
No, you do not have to feed
me or my crew. We know catering gets expensive, so
you don't have to worry about us.
-
How many cameras do you use?
Unless we agree to
something different. There will always be
at least two cameras at the ceremony and at the
reception. This gives us every possible vantage
point at the wedding, and ultimately makes for a
superior video.
-
Is Camera equipment important?
Is Bigger better?
No. The equipment
alone can not make an outstanding wedding
video. It is the talented and creative person
behind the camera who does. Don't look at what
equipment they bring to the wedding look for
someone who loves what they do, pays attention
to detail, and meet your needs. Our
cameras are smaller and less obtrusive. We want
people looking at you, not at us.
- What if it is too dark?
Dimming the lights during
the reception is up to you. We can use on
board camera lights, and our camera work well in low
light, but extremely dim or no lighting is not ideal
for video and will result in an inferior picture
quality. For best quality video memories, we
strongly advise against dimming lights during the
toasts, cake cutting and other special moments.
- Will you make sure to get the
flower girl walking down the aisle?
Sometimes it is difficult
to videotape small children, and others walking down
the aisle for a variety of reasons. Even
though we always try to get these shots from the best
possible positions, we have to strictly abide by the
rules and restrictions of the church. We have to
honor that. We do our best, but we can't tell people
to move, when they are standing and we can not go
beyond the rules of the church. Having two cameras
at your ceremony, will help us get all the
activities from different angles as best we can.
-
Can we choose our music for the
video?
Yes, by all means.
However if you are unsure we will be glad to
help in the selection.
-
How long does it take to get our
DVD's?
Generally it takes
about 90 to 120 days. Quality editing takes
awhile. And we want your wedding video to be the
best it can be.
-
What if I lose my DVD?
We hang on to a copy of
the finished DVD for 10 years. So if something
happens to your video or you need extra copies,
we can do that for you.
- What if I am having trouble with
my DVD?
We use high quality DVDs.
And we check all copies to make sure they are
working properly. Our DVDs are compatible with most
DVD players, however, not all manufactures adhere to
certain formatting standards. We will replace any
DVD that malfunctions or is defective, with a new
copy. You must notify us within 72 hours of
receiving your DVD to alert us of problems. We do
not issue refunds due to equipment incompatibility.
-
How far in advance should we
reserve a weekend? Is there a deposit?
There is a
non-refundable deposit of $50. This will
reserve your date. We only do one wedding per
day. So if you decide you want us at your
wedding, reserve the day as soon as possible.
